A morning start

This morning was different with Sam. He was looking for me early, after waking up and seeing his wife get up he was motivated to get up himself and there he is siting on the deck outside seeking to talk to me. Something about that warms my heart. I see how easily things distract Sam but he's making the effort this morning and I'm excited to tell him about his day.

Me: Good morning Sam,
Sam: I'm sorry I didn't listen well yesterday.
Me: Oh Sam, you don't need to apologize for that, that was yesterday and I am very happy we have today to be today.
Sam: I feel like I disappoint you everyday.
Me: On the contrary son, you make me proud.
Sam: I really want to try and let you be the author of my story, I want to do as you tell me and not live in correction.
Me: That's what I want for you too. I don't want you to miss out on what life is about by getting caught in the current that's passing but enjoy the vast beauty that's there. That's what I created you know?
Sam: I know you created it.
Me: Then only I can show you everything in it and I have these hidden goodies everywhere for you. Aha, there - I saw a little excitement rise in you, was I right?
Sam: Yes, I did get excited about something I didn't know. What could today look like?
Me: Let's continue to chat more today, I know you're on vacation with your family and there's so much to refocus on and so much fun to be had:)
Sam: You crack me up sometimes.
Me: Oh son, joy is at the center of my heart and right now I feel it flowing to you.

I see a beginning to something great here. It's the desire of every author to see his characters come to life, but I'm writing this story with my character and he does surprise me, well more like excites me because I know what's going to happen:) Hmm, I see Him lurking in the corner trying to catch Sam off guard, he's got the same tricks, I see him rolling up the lust, failure, frustration...but something's going to be different in Sam today. I don't see worry in him. He's filled with me this morning and I'll be with him all day to guide him. The story only gets better when we write it together.
